This course provides an introduction to IT Governance, and examines the importance and benefits of sound IT Governance to any IT organization. It includes a comparison of the available methodologies and their content and offers guidance on how and when each might be best used. It includes an overview of the important IT Governance methodologies. The course reviews IT governance domains. The course concludes with explaining a roadmap to implement IT Governance in an organization.

• Some knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management or IT audit experience would be beneficial, but is not essential as this is an introductory level course

• The course is aimed at all IT management staff with interest in aligning IT and business. This comprises of IT disciplines such as compliances, risk and performance.


• Internal or external consulting staff who participate in planning for or operating IT Governance processes.


• Business Managers who wish to learn more about IT Governance issue.
